“Centerville City Schools’ tradition of excellence is an important factor when deciding to locate in the Washington Township/Centerville community. David Roer’s leadership as a knowledgeable and hard working school board member is vital for our community. Join me in supporting his continued service.”
“I am honored to endorse the Doll, Roer and Sparks team for re-election to the Centerville City Schools Board of Education. The Centerville School District, and its board members, Doll, Roer and Sparks have worked very hard over these years to bring to the Centerville community a school system that successfully prepares our students for life and educational pursuits after high school. They have and continue to do so. Doll, Roer and Sparks have provided responsible leadership resulting in recognition that the Centerville School district is one of the most successful and best school districts in the state of Ohio. As we all know, the success of a local school system is one, if not the most important reason why families locate to a community. Doll, Roer and Sparks have been there to bring our community a successful school system, which provides benefit to all of us. As parents of two Centerville graduates, my family has seen their efforts. I would encourage you on November 2, 2021, to continue this successful leadership and re-elect Doll, Roer and Sparks as School Board members. All three have played a major part in making the Centerville/Washington Township community a great place [to] live, raise your family and educate your children.”
“Each one of my children have succeeded within our schools—academically and socially—and I have been beyond impressed with the teachers and staff that are guided by our qualified, moderate, and reasonable School Board members.”
“Four years ago when I ran for Centerville School Board, I lost to the three candidates now running for re-election. And to be honest, I was surprisingly OK with losing. Not because I didn’t want to win. I very much did. But, I had gotten to know the candidates over the course of the campaign. Because of this, I knew that Centerville schools were in the hands of accomplished, capable, and thoughtful people who would put children’s education first. Unfortunately, I don’t feel that way about the candidates running to unseat these board members. Their fringe political views and tactics reek of culture warriors who I believe would be a destabilizing influence on one of the premier school systems in the state of Ohio.”
“In 2006 my wife and I had to make a decision about where we were moving and why. Our priority was for our 2 children, so school districts became our focus. Centerville was on top of our list and that’s where we landed. Centerville School District has exceeded our expectations, and then some. We are extremely grateful and count ourselves very fortunate to have made this move. We could not be happier with the teachers, staff, and administrators from PVS to CHS. We 100% support our board and Dr. Tom Henderson. My wife and I both encourage any and all Centerville parents to vote for Doll, Roer, and Sparks. We also encourage anyone not in the Centerville School District to get over here, for the betterment of their children.”
“ALL Centerville public school kids deserve the best! I’m INCREDIBLY thankful there is a literal doctor on the board helping navigate health impacts! We’ve lived all over the country and moved here specifically for the quality of the public schools.”
“For over 20+ years Dr. Roer has been a dedicated stalwart of Centerville City Schools and the greater Dayton Community. His experience, intelligence and exceptional ability to productively problem solve in difficult circumstances makes Dr. Roer along with Mr. Doll and Mrs. Sparks the ONLY choices for school board. We need them to keep our schools on a positive course!”
“A school board is no place for personal politics, and the three challengers are openly running as ‘conservatives.’ I appreciate how Doll, Roer, & Sparks approach their roles in a non-political manner and are focused on the children of Centerville, without underlying agendas.”
